Unsound Selected For Cork Film Festival

Director’s Cut of Unsound selected for Cork Film Festival

Established in 1956 Cork Film Festival is one of Ireland’s most important festivals, and one where we’ve had a few films screen in the past, so it’s great to have another one of our films selected to be screened this year.

NG Bristow was the director for our emotional response short horror film ‘Unsound’ that we premiered at SXSW in March 2011, and both at SXSW & the Belfast Film Festival the versions that were screened were at the mercy fo the audiences who attended.  We had versions with and without scores, we had generative effects driven by heart rates of the audience, and we had different scene selections & endings screened as part of the physiological feedback.

But it’s great for a director’s cut of the version to be selected as well, as this celebrates the skill of Nigel [NG] Bristow as a director, both for his cut of the film and the variations that he shaped for audience feedback.

If you’re anywhere near Cork between 4–11 November then please go support the festival & we’d love to hear from you if you get to see our film.
